Nowadays, municipalities are more and more interested in urban works (roundabouts, traffic islands, bicycle lanes, tramway centres, etc.) of low environmental impact. Nevertheless, this interest is often in contrast with the necessity to create systems with low management costs of the green area and a high level of security for the workers in charge of their maintenance.

From this point of view, POLIFLOR has studied lines of products aimed to create low maintenance green urban systems. These systems are differentiated depending on the possibilities of irrigation.
